Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Nebulo Chat processes to provide accounts, messaging, moderation, security, and support. It should be adapted to the operator’s actual company details, vendors, and legal requirements before production use.

1. Information we process

Account details such as username, display name, email address, password hash, avatar, and account settings.
Messages, replies, reactions, uploaded files, room membership, reports, moderation actions, and safety records you create or receive through Chat.
Consent records, including the accepted Terms and Privacy Policy versions and the date and time of acceptance.
Technical and security information such as device identifiers, authentication events, approximate request information, error logs, and rate-limit or abuse-prevention signals.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, deliver messages and notifications, provide rooms and features, process purchases and rewards, personalize cosmetics, moderate abuse, protect users, prevent fraud, troubleshoot failures, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service or policy changes.

3. Messages and safety

Messages are processed by the Chat infrastructure and any communication providers needed to deliver the service. Content may be reviewed or preserved for moderation, reports, security, legal compliance, or emergency safety response. We do not promise that messages are confidential or that deletion is instantaneous from every backup or third-party system.

4. Sharing

We may share information with service providers that host databases, messaging, files, analytics, security, or support; with moderators who need it to enforce safety rules; with another user when you intentionally post or message them; or with authorities and advisers when required or reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. We do not sell account passwords.

5. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes above, account operation, dispute resolution, safety investigations, backups, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You may update account details, use blocking and reporting controls, request help with account access, or ask about deletion and privacy rights through the support tools in Chat. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

7. Children and age-restricted conduct

Chat is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. We do not knowingly collect information from a child below that age. If you believe a child has used Chat or that an adult is targeting a minor, report it promptly through Chat and contact a parent/guardian or appropriate authorities when needed.

8. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the service or applicable requirements change. A material update may require a new account-level acceptance. Privacy questions and requests should be sent through the support tools shown in Chat.
